Our story begins
with cultivation.
Before creating Barriers, we were already working in agriculture. Our starting point was observing how ingredients grow and understanding the care they need.
Barriers was born when we brought that experience to skincare. Today, we continue to grow the ingredients of FF-Symbiotic™ in our vertical farm in Barcelona.

We believe in skincare that supports skin and the way it naturally works. Our formulas focus on the skin barrier, hydration and microbiome.
When its barrier is healthy and skin is well hydrated, it feels more balanced and comfortable. This idea guides our approach to daily care.

Skin, body and mind are connected. Eating, sleeping, resting, socialising and managing stress are all part of caring for ourselves.
We understand longevity as living well: caring for our wellbeing, balance and quality of life over time. We value every stage, without chasing perfection or trying to stop time.

Our offices sit right above our farm. Every day, we see small changes: growth that cannot be rushed and cycles that need patience, consistency and care.
Growing our own ingredients connects us to the present and to the origins of our formulas. It also reflects our understanding of wellbeing.
