PPURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These General Terms and Conditions regulate the rights and obligations governing the use of this website and the commercial relations between Barriers and its users.
These conditions must be read carefully before using this website. Simple browsing of the website, as well as the use of the e-commerce services offered, implies full acceptance of each and every one of the conditions established herein at all times.
INFORMATION PROVIDED ON OUR WEBSITE
At Barriers, we do our best to ensure that the products offered in our online store are described accurately and precisely. However, the visual (images) or written information included in each product is for informational and guidance purposes only, so Barriers will not be responsible, in any case, for any possible errors that may exist in said information.
We reserve the right to modify these Conditions at any time. Any new version will be duly communicated in advance. In the event that any of the provisions of these Conditions is declared illegal or unenforceable by judicial resolution, the remaining provisions will remain fully valid and applicable.

Barriers does not exercise any control over the content of such websites and, in no case, will be responsible for the accuracy of the information contained therein or the use that may be made of it.

Barriers does not have access to confidential data related to payment methods. The personal data stored is duly protected in accordance with current regulations on security and data protection.

USER REGISTRATION
To register as a user on this website, the interested person must complete the registration form provided for this purpose, providing truthful, accurate, and updated information.
The required data include name, email address, and password. The user will be responsible for safeguarding their access credentials and maintaining their confidentiality, as well as for all activities carried out through their account.
The website owner reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that contain false or incomplete data, misuse the platform, or violate these conditions.
In any case, the creation of a user account will not be mandatory to make purchases, as users can place orders as guests.
PRODUCT PRICES
The prices of our products are shown with all taxes included. Prices do not include shipping costs, which will also be indicated with the corresponding taxes included.
Barriers reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced according to the rates in force at the time the order is placed.
Products will remain the property of Barriers until full payment of their amount has been made.
Barriers reserves the right to refuse any order for legally justified reasons.
PAYMENT METHODS AND PURCHASE PROCESS
Purchases can be paid by bank card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
The customer will have the option to download and print the purchase invoice as proof of payment. It will be the customer's sole responsibility to keep and print said documentation if they wish to keep a record of the transaction made.
The acquisition of products through this website is carried out as follows:
The user can select the available products. In case of unavailability, they will be informed and offered the possibility of receiving a notification using the "Notify Me" button, providing their email address.
Once an available product has been selected, it must be added to the cart. Once the selection is complete, the user must click on "Checkout" and access the cart, where they can review the order details, including the selected products, price, shipping costs, and any other applicable additional costs.
The user must enter or confirm the necessary data to process the order, including their name, contact details, shipping address, and billing information.
DISCOUNT CODES
Before finalizing the order, the user can enter a valid discount or promotional code.
Discount codes are subject to specific conditions, which may include temporary limitations, maximum number of uses, minimum purchase amount, or exclusive application to certain products or categories.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, multiple discount codes cannot be combined in the same order. Barriers reserves the right to cancel or reject codes that are fraudulent, invalid, or have been applied incorrectly.
The corresponding discount will be applied to the total amount before order confirmation, provided the code is valid.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs will be calculated based on factors such as destination, order weight, and selected shipping method.
The user will be clearly informed of the total shipping cost before confirming the order.

In accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the maximum delivery period will be thirty (30) calendar days from the formalization of the contract, unless another period is expressly agreed. The delivery times indicated during the purchase process are indicative and we reserve this legal margin of 30 days to make the delivery.
This provision will also apply to shipments made outside national territory. In the event that delivery is delayed beyond the maximum established period, the user may exercise the rights recognized by current regulations.
PRODUCT DELIVERY CONDITIONS
The company strives to ensure that orders are delivered as quickly as possible. Orders placed on business days before 1:00 PM will be processed on the same day, while those placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country and may be extended during periods of high demand (sales, promotions, or special campaigns, among others).
Users can track their order at any time through the provided link, as well as through email communications.
Changes to the delivery address will only be possible while the order is in the preparation phase. Once prepared or handed over to the carrier, no modifications can be made. In case of issues with the address or absence at the time of delivery, the transport company may contact the user to arrange a new delivery or deposit the order at a collection point.
LOST PACKAGES
Generally, there are two common reasons why a package may not have been delivered: inability to locate the recipient or an incorrect address.
• Failed delivery attempts: The transport company usually makes two delivery attempts within the established period. If it has not been possible to contact the customer and more than 14 business days have passed since the first delivery attempt, the package return procedure will begin.
• Incorrect address: We strongly recommend users to always verify the entered address to ensure it is correct.
If, after the estimated delivery time after dispatch, the customer has not received news of their order, they must contact us, indicating that they have not yet received it, through the email address: hello@barrierslab.com.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
The customer may return the product within 14 days from the date of receipt, provided it has not been opened or used. In this case, the corresponding shipping costs will be borne by the user.
If the package has been opened, the exchange or refund of the corresponding amount will only be processed when the product is damaged or in poor condition. Before making any return, the customer must communicate their intention to Customer Service in order to obtain the corresponding return authorization and the address to which the product should be sent.
Products must be returned properly protected and in their original packaging. Packages that do not include any element that allows identification of the sender (order number, surname, name, or postal address) will not be accepted.
Once the package has been received and the condition of the products checked, the corresponding amounts for the returned products will be reimbursed. In the case of defective products or products sent by mistake, the user will not have to bear the corresponding shipping costs.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
The contractual warranty offered is that established by current legislation and lasts for up to 3 years from the date of purchase of the product. The warranty covers any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery, including manufacturing defects, operating failures, or any discrepancy with the advertised characteristics.
Cosmetic products are also subject to applicable health regulations. In this regard, the warranty will be limited by the product's expiration date or the period indicated after opening, and the consumer must comply with these indications.
The following will not be considered a lack of conformity:
• Deterioration resulting from the use of the product after its expiration date or the period indicated after opening.
• Damage caused by improper use, incorrect storage, or improper handling of the product.
• Individual adverse reactions, unless they are a consequence of a product defect or incorrect or insufficient information.
The warranty will cover, where applicable, cosmetic products that show manufacturing defects, such as defective packaging or alterations in their composition, texture, smell, or state before use, in accordance with applicable regulations.
To exercise the right to warranty, the consumer must keep the proof of purchase and contact Customer Service within a reasonable period from the detection of the defect.
WAIVER AND INVALIDITY
Barriers' failure to exercise a particular right or legal action, or its failure to strictly enforce any of the User's obligations, shall not constitute a waiver of other rights or actions arising from a contract or these Terms, nor shall it exempt the User from fulfilling their obligations.
No waiver by Barriers of any of these Terms or of rights arising from a contract shall be effective unless it is expressly stated as such, formalized, and communicated to the User in writing.
If any of these Terms is declared null or unenforceable by a final resolution issued by a competent authority, the remaining clauses shall remain in force and shall not be affected by such declaration of nullity.
DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we provide below the basic information regarding the processing of personal data.

Purpose: To manage the execution of the contract between the client and the company.
Legal basis: Execution of a contract (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR 2016/679).
Recipients: Your data will not be communicated to third parties unless legally obliged to do so.

LIABILITY AND APPLICABLE LAW
The contents of the barrierslab.com website are merely informative. Consequently, Barriers shall not be liable for damages arising from improper use of the marketed products.
Barriers' liability shall, in any case, be limited to the amount of the order and shall not be affected by simple errors or omissions that may have occurred, provided that all necessary precautions have been taken in the presentation of the products. Barriers shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of business, or loss of profits arising from any circumstance.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraphs, Barriers' liability under these general conditions shall in no event exceed an amount equivalent to the sums paid or payable in connection with the transaction that gave rise to such liability, regardless of the cause or nature of the action exercised.
Barriers shall not be liable for breach of contract in the event of stock depletion or unavailability of products, force majeure, interruption of activity or total or partial strikes, especially of postal, transport or communication services, as well as for floods or fires. Likewise, Barriers limits its liability in the following cases:
• Although Barriers takes all necessary measures to offer a faithful representation of the products on the website, it shall not be liable for small differences or inaccuracies resulting from screen resolution or browser-related issues.
• Barriers will act with the utmost diligence to make the products available to the transport company; however, it shall not be liable for damages arising from transport incidents, including strikes, traffic delays, or losses.
• Technical failures or unavailability of the website.
• Improper use or wear and tear of the products by the User.
• Returns incorrectly made by the User.
In general, Barriers shall not be liable for any breach or delay arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), including, among others:
• Strikes or labor disputes.
• Civil unrest, war, or terrorism.
• Natural disasters.
• Interruptions or incidents in transport.
• Telecommunications failures.
• Government actions or provisions.
Obligations will be suspended for the duration of such events and deadlines will be extended accordingly.
In case of dispute, the user may first contact Barriers to try to reach an amicable solution. If an agreement is not possible, both parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, Spain.
These Conditions are drafted in Spanish. In case of discrepancy between the different translations, the Spanish version shall prevail.
These Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law.
