DELIVERY CONDITIONS OF THE PRODUCT
The company works to ensure the delivery of orders in the shortest possible time. Orders placed on working days before 13:00 will be processed on the same day, while those placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country and may be extended during periods of high demand (sales, promotions or special campaigns, etc.).
The user may track their order at any time through the link provided for this purpose, as well as through communications sent by email.
Changes to the delivery address will only be possible while the order is in the preparation phase. Once prepared or handed over to the carrier, no changes may be made. In the event of issues with the address or absence at the time of delivery, the transport company may contact the user to arrange a new delivery or deposit the order at a collection point.
LOSS OF PACKAGES
In general terms, there are two common reasons why you may not have received your package: failure to locate the customer or an incorrect address.
• Unsuccessful delivery attempts: The transport company generally makes 2 delivery attempts within an agreed time frame. If the company has not been able to contact the customer and more than 14 working days have passed since the first delivery attempt, the return procedure of the package will be initiated.
• Incorrect address: We strongly recommend that users always check the address entered to ensure it is correct.
If, after the delivery period following shipment, the customer has no news of their order, the customer must contact us indicating that they have not yet received their order at the following address: hello@barrierslab.com.
WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
The customer may return the product within 14 days from the date of receipt, provided that it has not been opened and/or used. In such case, the user shall bear the corresponding shipping costs.
If the package has been opened, only an exchange or refund of the corresponding amount will be processed if the product was damaged or in poor condition. Before any return, the customer must notify their intention to return the product through Customer Service, in order to obtain a return authorization and the address to which the product must be returned.
Products must be returned properly protected and in their original packaging. Packages that do not include any element allowing identification of the sender (order number, surname, name, postal address) will not be accepted.
Once the package has been received and the products verified, the refund procedure will be carried out for the corresponding amounts of the returned products. In the case of defective or incorrect products, the user will not bear the corresponding shipping costs.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
The contractual warranty offered is that established by law and has a validity period of up to 3 years from the purchase of the product. The warranty covers any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the product, including manufacturing defects, malfunction or any discrepancy with the advertised characteristics.
Cosmetic products are additionally governed by applicable health regulations. In this regard, the warranty will be limited by the product’s expiration date or the period indicated after opening, and the consumer must respect these indications.
The following shall not be considered lack of conformity:
-
deterioration resulting from use after the expiration date or after the indicated period following opening,
-
damage caused by improper use, incorrect storage or inadequate handling of the product,
-
individual adverse reactions, unless they are due to a product defect or incorrect or insufficient information.
The warranty will cover, where applicable, cosmetic products presenting defects of origin, such as defective packaging or alterations in composition, texture, smell or condition prior to use in accordance with the provisions.
To exercise the warranty right, the consumer must retain proof of purchase and contact Customer Service within a reasonable period from the detection of the defect.
WAIVER AND INVALIDITY
No waiver by Barriers of a specific legal right or action or failure by Barriers to require strict compliance by the User with any of their obligations shall constitute a waiver of other rights or actions arising from a contract or these Conditions, nor shall it exempt the User from compliance with their obligations.
No waiver by Barriers of any of these Conditions or rights arising from a contract shall take effect unless it is expressly stated as a waiver, formalized and communicated to the User in writing.
If any of these Conditions are declared null and void by a final decision issued by a competent authority, the remaining clauses shall remain in force and shall not be affected by such declaration of nullity.
